VectorWorks is interoperable with, and has the ability to import and export to, a variety of programs and file formats. The file formats supported in the VectorWorks Fundamentals package are described in Importing and Exporting Files. In addition, depending on the installed product(s), VectorWorks can import and export files in the following formats.

PDF (Portable Document Format, from Adobe Systems Incorporated, creates files viewable with Acrobat Reader or other PDF viewers)

SketchUp (3D model creation, viewing, modification, and presentation software from Google, Inc.). VectorWorks can import .skp files that are version 4.0 and higher.
